Analyzable alloys and elements
SPAS-02 identifies the composition of as well as ferrous alloys (all types of steel and cast iron) and non-ferrous alloys of any matrices (Al, Cu, Zn, Ni, Ti, Mg, Co, etc.).
The usage of CCD sensors allows analyzing the whole range of basic elements used in metallurgy including S, P, C.
Analytical performance
The accuracy of measurements, made using SPAS-02, is better than the existing requirements of GOSTs (Russian standards of measuring tools).
Each spectrometer SPAS-02 passes through the state initial inspection at The D.I.Mendeleev All-Russian Institute For Metrology (VNIIM).

Optical system
Vacuum construction:
- allows to get the best analytical performance among spectrometers based on CCD
- doesn't depend on the noble gas quality in comparison with the non-vacuum analogs
- for rapid and reliable vacuumization of optical block, highly productive sliding vane rotary vacuum pump is used. The protection of optical block from the probability of oil mist impact, is performed thanks to two-stepped catcher of our own development and special cut-off system.
New polychromator construction:
- more durable and repairable
- allows maximum fine-tune the key spectral lines
- allows for reconfiguration in the event of significant changes in analytical tasks

Source generator
New source generator allows to choose optimal parameters for posed analytical task.
